About Alice Kampire: Entrepreneur and Pastor (Rwanda)

Alice became a Christian when she was 17-years-old. At the time, she was dealing with depression, but her life changed after learning that her heavenly Father could heal her wounds.

In 2010, Alice completed her BBA with a specialization in Finance, but she was uncertain what career she wanted to pursue. While she was looking for work, Alice spontaneously saw a job opening at a local hotel. She decided to apply and after getting a position as a front desk employee she ended up having a great experience.

As a natural people person, Alice excelled and in just two years she was hosting the President of Rwanda and his Cabinet as the General Manager of a five-star hotel. Alice was also actively serving in her church and began leading a drama team at the age of 20.

After getting married, Alice and her husband were called to increase their involvement in ministry. They both were ordained as pastors and are currently leading a church in Kigali. Alice has also partnered with her husband to launch Doxah Ventures: a hotel management company. Their entrepreneurial work finances their ministry and Alice is currently the General Manager at Elevate Suites Hotel.

Alice’s goal is that 10 hotels will soon fall under the Doxah Ventures umbrella and that the brand will continue to grow in reputability. At her church, Alice is planning on growing the women’s ministry and intentionally building into the lives of girls entering womanhood. In all that she does, Alice is pursuing her vision of helping establish a country free from poverty in all of its forms (spiritual, material, and relational).

Alice recognizes that she has been blessed with multiple leadership positions and she is attending ALI so that she can be a godly leader in her family, church, and business. She is looking forward to acquiring more leadership competencies and developing a deeper understanding of abundant leadership.

Thanks to previous donations made by generous members of the Kurumbuka community, Alice has no remaining scholarship needs! Any additional funds given through this page will be allocated towards future ALI scholarships.
