About Beatrice Angura: Head Teacher (Uganda)

Beatrice Angura is the Head Teacher of Victorious Education Service’s Miracle Campus and the Head of Games and Sports for the entire institution. Beatrice is a devout Christian and decided to become an educator after being inspired by her Primary 1 teacher.

Beatrice’s first job in the education sector was with Victorious Education Services. At the time, Victorious was a new school and only had 30 students. Her responsibilities have steadily increased within the institution. After starting as a Class Assistant, she became a Class Manager and then the Head of Games and Sports. By 2007, she was promoted to her current position.

Victorious is a thriving Christian school that is an example for educational institutions throughout Uganda. Beatrice oversees one of Victorious’ five campuses which educates over 700 of Victorious’ 4600 students. All five campuses have a Corporate Social Responsibility statement and work to be agents of change in their communities.

Beatrice is driven by a passion to develop servant leaders among the staff, children and community who will influence the entire nation. She believes ALI will help her accomplish this goal. She also writes, “I hope to gain leadership skills that will help me influence the community to be positive and to appreciate the resources they have to improve their welfare.”
