Ezechiel Hatungimana wants to create desperately needed jobs in one of Africa’s poorest countries.

Ezechiel is from Burundi, a beautiful, small, and densely populated country that has struggled for many years with conflict, poor leadership, and poverty. At a young age, Ezechiel had to work hard to finish school while also providing for his family. His leadership was developed early and he lived out his faith doing multiple evangelistic outreaches throughout his country. 

Today, Ezechiel works three jobs and is the founder of Kingdom Investor’s Pesa Yetu, an organization that has trained 647 people in Kingdom Principles for starting businesses and managing finances. He has also helped coordinate food programs for more than 4500 people during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ezechiel’s dream is “to see every Burundian access basic needs and for each family to be equipped to become financially independent.” He applied for the Abundant Leadership Institute because he wants to deepen his leadership and learn how to use local resources to find solutions to local problems.
