About Jean Claude Uwimana: Accountant

Jean Claude serves as the Managing Director of United Efforts: an NGO working to end poverty and hunger in Burundi. As a trained accountant, Jean Claude worked for major telecommunication and financial institutions in Burundi before joining United Efforts.

Jean Claude believes that the key to transforming Burundi is investing in the country's young people. He recognizes the potential of his country's youth, but he also knows about the instability faced by people under 25 across the region. Jean Claude is participating in ALI because he wants to grow as a leader to help young people overcome various challenges and realize their potential.
