About Jean Bosco Ntibaziyaremye: Director of Administration and Finance (Rwanda)

Jean Bosco became a Christian at the age of 14. Before he accepted Christ, he was hopeless due to various challenges in his family. The new life he found in Christ inspired him to actively share the gospel and engage in discipleship. This passion led him to pursue a career in education because he was excited about the possibility of sharing the love of Christ with students and their families.

Jean Bosco’s enthusiasm for his career and hard-working nature provided him with various opportunities. After starting as a classroom teacher, he became a Director of Studies and then a Head Teacher. Jean Bosco’s time in leadership showed him the widespread need for various administrative and technical skills within Rwanda’s schools. To meet this need, Jean Bosco decided to return to school to complete a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Accounting and Finance. His goal was to help schools steward their resources more effectively so more children could receive a higher quality education.

During this time, Jean Bosco was hired by the Wellspring Academy and he soon became its Director of Administration and Finance. As a member of Wellspring Academy’s leadership team, Jean Bosco has helped lead the school through the challenges of COVID-19. Comprised of multiple ALI alumni, this leadership team has helped Wellspring thrive during this unprecedented time—their enrolment has increased, and they recently completed the construction of a new three-story building that was financed entirely by internal resources.

Moving forward, Jean Bosco hopes to firmly establish financial sustainability, empower and develop leaders within the finance team, and leverage technology to operate more effectively and efficiently. He is excited to participate in ALI because he knows it will help him accomplish these goals and he has seen how it has impacted the lives of his co-workers.

Outside of work, Jean Bosco serves his church through project development and fund management. He also oversees the ministries focused on families and social work.
