About Pascal Bizumuremyi: Non-Profit Admin & Finance Manager (Rwanda)

Pascal was born and raised in Rwanda, where he lives with his wife and three children. Pascal and his family are Christians, and their faith in God is their foundation for everything. They attend a Pentecostal church where Pascal sings in the choir.

Throughout his professional life, Pascal has worked in different international organizations, many of which were not Christian. Within these organizations, faith in God was not welcome. However, with Pascal's primary motivation being to respect and serve God, he dreamed of working for an organization where his faith was welcome.

Now, Pascal is the finance and administration manager for Hope International Rwanda Savings Group Ministry, where praying and reading the Bible with his coworkers is a regular part of his work day. Hope International is a faith-based organization whose mission is to invest in the dreams of families in the world's underserved communities as they proclaim and live the Gospel. They partner with seven large churches around Rwanda to reach as many communities as possible in their nation. Sharing the Gospel is central to Pascal's mission and vision for transformation, and he is very passionate about Hope International's work.

Part of Pascal's work with Hope International involves his role in finance. He follows the principle of stewardship to ensure that the funds donated to Hope International are appropriately administered to their church partners and used in the best way possible, according to the needs of the communities. Pascal acknowledges that these funds are a gift from God. Thus, he works diligently to ensure that they bring honor and glory to Him.

Pascal considers himself to be a supportive person. Throughout his life, he has found himself leading others in various ways. Now, in his managerial role at Hope International, Pascal continues to guide and support the staff in his department, and he desires to do this to the best of his ability.

Pascal is excited to attend the Abundant Leadership Institute (ALI) through Kurumbuka to develop and improve his leadership skills. More specifically, Pascal looks forward to developing his skills in human resource management. He also looks forward to connecting with and learning from the other program members who will bring valuable skills and experiences.

Finally, Pascal is excited about the possible widespread impact of attending ALI. He knows that sharing what he learns can benefit those around him. He plans to teach his staff at Hope International, who will train the church leaders they partner with, tell their volunteers, and show their church members, continually multiplying impact. Pascal is a dreamer; his vision and hope for transformation do not end simply by investing in himself. When thinking about investing in those around him, he can envision the possible impact on his country, Rwanda, and other countries across the continent.
