About Rev. Richard Rukundo: Youth and Children’s Ministry Coordinator (Uganda)

Rev. Richard Rukundo is currently working as the Provincial Coordinator for Youth and Children's Ministry at the Church of Uganda. Despite already obtaining a Master's in Divinity, Theology, Clinical Psychology, and Education, he has applied for our academic program. He is a trained pastor, teacher, clinical psychologist, leader, and advocate, and has been serving in the Ugandan Church for over 25 years. His work involves leading educational programs, youth and children's projects, and coordinating international partnerships in local communities. Rev. Richard Rukundo is dedicated to serving Christ in all his endeavors. 

Rev. Richard recognizes the lack of leadership within Uganda's Church and aims to raise a new generation of leaders to sustain and support spreading the Gospel. He wants to empower upcoming leaders with a holistic approach that equips them with the Word of God, spiritual disciplines, and life skills. He applied to the Abundant Leadership Institute because he understands that to raise such leaders, he first needs to develop himself and gain the necessary skills. He is thrilled that ALI offers a Christ-centered leadership approach that he hopes to multiply in his community.
