About Tombo Ushindi: Non-profit Director of Communications (DRC)

Tombo is currently serving as the Director of Communications for the African Restoring Bridges Initiative, an NGO based in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This organization is dedicated to promoting healing, conflict transformation, peacebuilding, and integral development of communities affected by identity-based conflict. Tombo is highly committed to social transformation and the well-being of conflict-affected communities. 

Tombo has a strong desire to see lasting peace in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and is determined to contribute towards spiritual, social, and economic transformation in his country. He applied for the Abundant Leadership Institute to learn how to lead from a place of abundance. Tombo believes that this leadership training will enable him to take steps towards promoting peace, social cohesion, and community development in the DRC. He is deeply invested in helping his community and is convinced that the skills he acquires at ALI will be instrumental in his efforts.
